Review: Child To Cherish Creates Treasures For Our Little Ones

Looking for some unique gifts for a friend’s baby shower or baptism? Or maybe you would like to get your little one a special keepsake gift?

A Child to Cherish is the place to look!

We recently welcomed our second child to our family and I thought it’d be nice to get her something special…something just for her.

I saw Child to Cherish’s A Block to Grow On and didn’t really know what to expect after I ordered it except that it would be a keepsake. When it arrived, it gave me a heart-warming feeling as I thought of my daughter having something to treasure as she grew older.CTC Block To Grow On A Block to Grow On, which has received praise by many sources including Good Morning America and Barbara Walter’s The View as the #1 most desirable Shower Gift, is a block-shaped ceramic piggy bank. Aside from just being a place to store some extra cash, there’s space on the outside of the block to record memorable details such as her height / weight each month for her first year, when her first tooth appeared, when she first smiled, etc. These personal details are surrounded by some cute little animals on each surface around the block that will surely capture my baby’s attention as she gets a bit older.

I intend to put a coin or two into A Block to Grow On daily with the hope that there’ll be a little savings stash for her when she’s old enough to know what money is. A Block to Grow On is about 5”x5”x5” in size so there’s room for some dough.

Another unique item that we received from Child to Cherish was the Princess Time Out Spot. I chuckled to myself as I picked out this item online.  Although my daughters are too young to need to go to ‘time out’ or really understand it, I know that they will get good use out of the Time Out Spot soon enough.

CTC Time Out Spot
The first day we had the Princess Time Out Spot, I put it out on the floor in our living room to take a closer look. Since we don’t have any carpet in our home, this rug was an instant attraction for my 18-month old daughter. She rolled all over it, drank her juice while lying on it, etc. It was a fun place to sit/lie down. Well, knowing that it was eventually going to be used as a disciplining tool, I have rolled it up and set it aside for a few weeks.

We loved the Princess Time Out Spot’s little slogan ‘Even a princess needs a Time-Out’ because we all know that’s true!

Child to Cherish has a number of other innovative gifts for holidays, birthdays, etc. so it’s definitely a place to check out when that memorable day is near.
