Festive Recipes: Holiday Drinks & Cookie Compliments

‘Tis the season for holiday cheer.

And what better way to celebrate than with some yummy new beverages this festive season?!

I’m usually partial to copious amounts of wine and plain old coffee and Baileys. And my husband swears by his tried and true ‘hot toddy’ favorite, Blueberry Tea (1 oz. Grand Marnier, 1 oz. Amaretto, hot orange pekoe tea).

But maybe it’s time to branch out this holiday season. I’ve called on a few of my fellow bloggers to help me get merry and bright this Christmas.

Peppermint Cookietini Cocktail, anyone?

Lisa over at Snappy Gourmet whipped up this gorgeous creation.

And the festive fun continues over at Snappy Gourmet. Appearing to be my long-lost soulmate, Lisa has also invented the Cinnamon Roll Eggnog, the Cookies ‘N Creamtini, and the Mississippi Mudtini.

And for the big finish, Snappy Gourmet gets downright decadent with the delightful hot toddy, Red Velvet Hot Chocolate!

Directions: Freeze coffee as ice cubes and toss in a cup of Baileys and vanilla vodka. Sounds Santa-approved to me!

Amy at A Healthy Life For Me put together three decadent drinks for the holiday season: Blackberry Champagne Cocktail, Cranberry Vodka Spritzer with Cranberry Simple Syrup, and Sparkling Cranberry Rose Cocktail.

Raquel at Organized Island whipped up two cranberry cocktails sure to please this holiday season. Check out The Cape Cod Kiss and the Crandy Cane.

Did someone say Sangria? Lisa over at Wine and Glue whipped up the perfect amount of naughty and nice in this festive recipe: Cherry Sangria.

And in case you’re looking for the perfect cookie compliment to your festive bevvy, check out Christi’s creations at Love from the Oven.

Christi put together her top favorite Christmas recipes, including Eggnog Truffle Pops, Caramel Pecan Rolls, and Cinnamon Caramel Swirl Bars.

Goddess Bless the bloggers! And cheers to all!
