Before you buy, check out Robin’s 3 key tips for selecting the perfect maternity fitness gear:
- Look for items that fit your regular workout routine. Underbelly pants work best for any type of fitness activity, as they tend to stay in place – don’t be fooled by pants with a roll-over fabric band – they aren’t as secure.
- Avid runners should try long racer back tanks layered over a sports bra – there is most likely an increase in cup size and runners should have as much support as possible. (If you are new to running, be sure to check with your doctor before starting any new physical activity.)
- A simple athletic bra cami works great for prenatal yoga and barre classes – plus paired with a bright colored top and maternity yoga leggings take it from the studio to the streets.
