With 2014 coming to a close, many of us are starting to think about New Year’s resolutions.
“Lose weight” is one of the top resolutions every year. Not to mention, stop the toxic addictions such as cigarettes and too much alcohol.
In a recent study, here are the top 10 promises we make to ourselves at the beginning of every new year.

- 10. Spend more time with family

For me, I want less screen time and more family time! I barely watch any TV, but I’m a full-fledged iPhone junkie. Not to mention, I am a blogger, so I spend an average of 5 hours in front of the computer every day.
I shudder to think that my kids will remember me as “the woman in a robe who drinks copious amounts of coffee in front of a laptop.”
While most New Year’s resolutions become empty promises for ourselves, I think it is a great idea to reflect on the past year, learn from our mistakes, and strive to move forward with an open heart and evolved mind.
