Shoes, shoes, shoes. We love ‘em – and our children love them too!
Now that spring is here and the boots are slowly making their way to the back of the closet, I am noticing that I am always reaching for a specific brand of shoes to put on my little one’s feet.
Pediped has recently launched their Spring/Summer 2014 collection and have over 70 new styles and color combos for their three lines of children’s shoes: Originals®, Grip ‘n’ Go™ and Flex®. And as any mom would do, especially if you’ve seen their fabulous shoes already, I ordered two pairs of shoes for my toddler.
Seeing as though my 20-month old daughter is relatively new to the walking scene, the first pair that I selected was the Mirabella Originals. They are her glam shoes! She likes the sparkly silver trim and the flower on the top.
And for me, I like the quality of the Originals and the flexible soles. Not only are the shoes designed to mimic walking in bare feet, they use a soft foam insert between high quality leather layers. It’s nice to know that the pediped footwear line has the approval of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
I also ordered my daughter the athletic-style Grip’n’Go Riddell’s for those on-the-go days or playing in the park. And we all know that the park can sometimes be muddy and dirty…good thing these shoes are machine washable!
The Grip’n’Go’s are made using Ultra Light Technology so not only are the shoes super light for my toddler to run in, they flex in conjunction with her natural foot movement and give support in the heel area.
Along with the Ultra Light Technology, the Grip’n’Go’s offer what pediped calls G2 Technology™. It’s beneficial to toddlers like my daughter as they transition into confident walkers.
I’m not all up to speed on all the technological stuff that goes into making shoes, but I trust that pediped is doing something right since the award-winning company is the fastest growing children’s shoe brand in the United States.
And I can see why they are because this mama loves pediped’s shoes!
