When you are heading out of the house with your bottle-fed baby, do you sometimes feel like it’s a huge process to get all the formula supplies ready?

So you pack enough formula in all your little convenient plastic formula containers, then you pack enough bottles for the outing.  Oh, and then you need to make sure you have enough water, right?  So just with all that decision making, you have just filled up your diaper bag with what seems to be a gazillion things.  Great, now you’re ready to head out!

Wouldn’t it be great if you could just prep the bottle at home and have it ready to go when you need it?

What is a Mixie you ask?

Mixie is the only formula bottle that allows you to fix a bottle now and mix and use it later, making feeding on go SO easy.  Powder formula is stored in an airtight container separately from the water.  When you are ready to feed, simply press a button at the bottom of the bottle to release the powder into the water and shake to mix.  (There’s even an agitator inside to help mix the formula.)  It’s really great for traveling, grandparents and sitters, or for those sleepy, middle-of-the-night feedings.

The Mixie has made getting organized for outings so much simpler and more convenient for me – no more having to open the bottle, pour the water in, dump the pre-measured formula, put the formula container away, and then shake up the bottle.

And the time savings of no longer needing to remind my husband how to mix a bottle of formula has been an extra plus!

My daughter seems to like the bottles as well.  As she drinks her milk, she takes a little breather and shakes it up watching the agitator float around.

It’s a pretty simple concept when you think about it and it’s the only baby bottle that I have seen on the market like this.  There are two different sized bottles – 4 oz. and 8 oz. and you can put them in the dishwasher or microwave to clean/sanitize them.  Another bonus – the bottles are BPA, Phthalates, and PVC Free.
