What would you do if your man cheated on you? Kick him to the curb? Or would you stand by your man, just like Tori Spelling seems to be doing?
The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum and her husband, fellow actor Dean McDermott, are the latest Hollywood couple to be rocked by a cheating scandal.
But they certainly don’t look like they’re on the brink of divorce.
The reality stars – parents to Liam, 6, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 1 – appear to be ignoring a woman’s claim that she had sex with Dean in December 2013.
On New Year’s Day, Tori published a loving family photo on ToriSpelling.com. The shot shows the couple’s older children smiling alongside their parents on a white floor.
“Happy New Year everyone!” Tori writes. “I can NOT believe it’s 2014. Time flies when you’re having fun… and when you have 4 little ones running around! We rang in the New Year with (kid-friendly) cocktails, lots of yummy treats and some quality family time.”
She adds: “Cheers to another year of crafting, cooking, party-planning, family memories, fashion statements, love fests, lots of cozy time, and of course… blogging!”
Just days earlier (the day after Christmas), US Weekly reported that Dean cheated on Tori with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand. ”He told me he and Tori had a sexless marriage,” says Goodhand, who stayed over at his hotel the following night too. “I believed him.”
According to Us, Goodhand claims she met McDermott while he was promoting Chopped Canada in Toronto on December 6, 2013. Goodhand goes on to tell the mag they had an affair in his room at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel.
Tori and Dean have yet to publicly respond to the cheating claim, and both reps have not commented since this story went viral on December 26, 2013.
In the past, Tori has said, “There’s no such thing as a perfect couple.” But insiders claim that she is ”humiliated and inconsolable” after being cheated on.
Recently seen adopting a new black dog – with wedding ring on finger – Tori is reportedly still living with Dean and trying to keep it together for their four kids.
From the outside looking in, is seems the cheating claim must be true since they have not publicly slammed these reports. My heart goes out to Tori during this difficult time — but I’m not sure I’d react the same way. It’s hard to say – since I do not live a high-profile life or know the couple personally – but it seems Tori should kick Dean to the curb until he proves himself otherwise. What was with the ‘happy’ New Year’s Day family photo shoot? That seemed so phoney, just days after the cheating scandal hit the news.
What would you do if you were in Tori’s shoes? Kick Dean out? Publicly address the reports? Stand by your man?
